Play nice children or I'll lock this thread and modify your profiles with tragic facial hair pictures...... you've been warned!

Well I think its hopeless trying to convince those who have already made up their minds, rendering debate (if that is what anyone would call this) useless.  We must remember that opinions are the product of our past experiences and heredity combined, its not like we choose how we are raised.  Which is why we hold our opinions about life, religion, and politics so close to our hearts.  It is also why Simv does not allow discussion about politics or religion, someone is bound to get their beliefs trampled on.  It would be like harassing a child from a "low income family" (pardon the P.C.) on the playground, its just not cool because the child has no say in how they were brought into the world.

I wonder what other South Floridians have to say ...

How 'bout we leave y'all in Florida to your own devices the next time a Cat 5 levels a goodly portion?

You may not wanna throw any stones at others when there remains an annual threat that Mother Nature could throw y'all a significant 'curve ball'........

I'm just sayin'.......

I wonder too, I live here, but 10 miles from downtown.

there are a lot of things being said in this thread ,some are very disappoint.

all I want to express ,is that I wish I would have more money to help our brothers in Haiti ,I wish I could travel there and help the people , I see my hands so useless where there might be need it there , I have cry (and a lot) seeing thousands of children seriously injured , many are death and even yesterday there was an 8 years old rescued under a fallen wall or floor ,

warning strong images!
