...!I accidentally stepped on a Snail as I left my house this morning and I was fearful of getting a call from a Lawyer representing the Snail Protection League, summoning me to appear before the Creature Welfare Court, to answer a case of voluntary Snail crushing.
I was extremely fearful, as the Prosecution and Jury was made up of various slippery, slimy creatures, with and without shells, and my chance of an aquittal would be very remote under the circumstances.
If the case had gone badly, I could have been been made to disappear, without leaving a trail...
