I'm going. Need to build time for my commercial.

Download and study the pilot's info.. including the arrival. I last flew it in 2006, I believe..

I would like the shirt idea but more along the lines of a shirt with a collar. Like a golf shirt or similar. Shipping would be a hassle but Pete would have to approve first. If he did, I would do 200 shirts and send them out. Simv would collect the orders and cash, I would ship and give Pete my shipping receipts and cost of shirts for reimbursement after the orders were filled and members are satisfied. Totally me going out on a limb financially not you, not Simv. But we would have our shirts to wear at air shows and airports.
What do you think?

Nice idea -- but it needs to work financially. I don't need anything out of this only to see people wearing the shirt.  :)
I'd be very eager to follow this idea through. (have thought about it for years) .. if you would .. ! :)

On the Oshkosh idea -- it's a GREAT idea -- & I'd happily come to the event myself (always wanted to attend) but the amount of work involved (+ costs too) slightly destroy the motivation  ....

I would love to go this year, and I will if it is at all possible. I'm job hunting though, so I have no idea what my schedule will be like in July. If shirts become available I will buy one whether I go or not. :)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Hi Larry... :)

A stone-boat is a device for moving heavy objects such as stones or hay bales. It was used with horses by the settlers of the Western United States, and is still sometimes used with tractors today [1].

The device looks like a low-profile sled. They were usually made of wood, but metal versions exist with hinges.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stone-boat

Almost all farms had a stoneboat for hauling the rocks off the fields prior to planting in the spring here in Ontario.

Hi Larry....I think we are way off topic... ;D

Like I said in my PM to you:
I just love stirring the pot... ;D...well just a little... :)

Now other than military Otters I think they should be painted colourful.
Royal Blue is nice
Orange is nice
Yellow is nice
Bare metal even looks good....hmmm....as I recall some of our military Otters were partly bare metal    :)

Yes way off topic... ;D
