How legal...

Postby JakesF14 » Thu Jan 21, 2010 2:26 am

could this be? I want to buy FSX, and here in SA , it cost about  R300.00( about 30 Euro) at Kalahari.net, but this site sell all their games for R149.99. Ive seen some of their games, and you can see the covers are copied, as well as the DVD's have printed stickers on. I dont want to buy from them if they are not legal. the guy who told me about them said they have a licec to mass distribute the games  - or something like that????

Ditto... I'd say, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. :)

...actually, its probably half way legit. Developers sell games for dirt cheap to certain parts of the world (...where they can't afford full priced versions), and resellers would buy them from those countries in bulk and resell for significantly discounted price.

...but of course, anyone shady enough to pull a stunt like that is probably not very good at keeping your credit card info private. ::)
