I can only imagine that in a few years this becomes the next 'extreme sport'.
This was covered in a Star Trek: Voyager episode where B'Elanna Torres 'sky-dives' from orbit. There was also a scene that was filmed but cut from the final version of Star Trek: Generations where Kirk did this while the opening credits were running, but it was replaced with the Dom Perignon bottle floating through space.
