I thought that title might grab you. Has to do with raisng an F6F Hellcat from the lake after being there for 64 years.

I saw this on the news this morning.

I thought it was cool that the grandson of the pilot was the first to sit in the cockpit after it was raised.  8-)

I was just about to post this too 8-) Will they preserve it as is, making a diorama (minus the water of course) of how she was found, or will she be rebuilt?

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
