Can reach up to 50MPH, look awesome also. ;) :D

They say they might be able to catch pirates faster with these and the Navy will own 55 of them. $460 million a piece. :o

Still slower than some pirate and about 30 MPH slower than the boats the top drug runners use :-?

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I dont know if they meant they could catch them in a high speed boat chase  ;D but if they can catch some of the pirates and drug runners with the other boats this one may be able to catch them faster. Itll be better to actually have this faster ship though. I mean it'll definatly come in handy.

But naval ships has BIG guns  :D :D It means they have more time to shoot at them, and it's quicker to get boats in distress  ;)

But that's why we have helicopters to chase pirate boats, and worse case scenario, Super Hornets.... ;D

My step-son was manning the 25mm Automatic Cannon during their run in with the pirates. He said the pirates seemed to have a problem being able out run that...... ;)

Doesn't surprise me. The Iraqi's had a hard time outrunning our 240B's, M2 .50 Cals, and the 25mm also... ;D

Unfortunately Rom, European nations are not allowed to use that sort of force. It would be to aggressive and infringe the pirates human rights if we opened fire on them. The liberals that would come crawling out of the woodwork would rather have us hug a pirate, he is just misunderstood >:(

Nice looking boat, but hard to target a boat, that goes twice as fast as yours.

As much as I hate pirates and love the Naval Forces...let's try to dodge involving political parties in this discussion  8-)

Rom, my thanks to your son for doing what he does, I know you did what you had to do, and now he's doing what he has to do  :)  Drives me nuts when I hear what the pirates get away with.  Can't wait until they finally decide to send the Marines after them  8-)  Game over!
