Doug...

When some power crazy Official approaches me, uttering the Magic Words; "The Law", I have this overwhelming desire to break; "The Law", and punch them right on their Power-Crazy nose...(and create a glorious Nose Bleed to boot!)... ;D... ;D... ;D...!

Paul... ;D... ;D... ;D...!

Civilian Folks wearing uniforms have this strange effect upon me!... ;)...!

..its a "Grumpy Old Man" sort of thing....I love it!... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...!

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Couldn't this technically be viewed the same way as someone cleaning a murder weapon?


Good anology!  ;D When one refeeds the meter he is wiping away the evidence, but the crime has been committed when your time runs out.
In some parts of Toronto, you are allowed to park all day as long as you pay the fee. Not so much a meter but a box you stick your cash in and get a dashboard display ticket. You can choose the hours you want to buy, but a certain time in the late afternoon you must be gone. Before the advent of the electronic ticket machines you could legally drive away while the officer was writing the ticket, as he or she was supposed to place it on your windshield. (windscreen)

..but only during the Hours before 8:00 AM, and after 6:00 PM, Weekdays... ;)...!
