A painting of Leonardo DaVinci has been discovered that was previously unknown to the world.

It may not, however, be the original work by DaVinci itself, but experts say that it resembles the Mona Lisa.

The arms seem out of proportion to me. Looking at the Mona Lisa and this one side by side, would help a bit.

The model for the original Mona Lisa was apparently Lisa del Giocondo, a member of the Gherardini family of Florence and Tuscany and the wife of wealthy Florentine silk merchant Francesco del Giocondo. The painting was commissioned for their new home and to celebrate the birth of their second son, Andrea. They never actually got it as it took da Vinci 16 years to finish it.

That's better! Might be related, but they don't look like the same lady to me. The cheekbones, the eyebrows, and the nose among other features.
