I love fun stuff like this... had to finish it right
If we really wanna get right down to it and since the question was, is the statement correct using the thought of TIME in definition.. the answer is actually, yes
If we are assuming the direct grammatical meaning of the statement then we can not just define LIGHT YEAR and ASSUME it was meant to defineTIME however what we can do is extrapolate past the statement which is correct by the way, and define it as time.
Since we went so far as to define LIGHT YEAR we must also define the rest of the words in the statement. TOOK and MANY
If we define the word TOOK and MANY then the statement can become time based
The word TOOK is past tense for TAKE, therefore it happened in the past (time) however we also look for the correct definition of TAKE which fits our statement:
Profit
Get; Help oneself to
Steal
Buy; Reserve
Endure
Consume(d) <------------------
Accept, Adopt; Use
Understand
Captivate, Enchant
Require(d) <---------------------
Subtract
Cheat, Deceive
Contract, Catch
Therefore,
It's from a galaxy far, far away...
