Does every ship need a military escort to have a glimmer of hope to get through there now?  Just how many ships pass through Aden?

Just how many ships pass through Aden?

This report puts it at 200 tankers a day. http://international-business-regulations.suite101.com/article.cfm/pirates_plunder_international_trade_ransoms

Note that not all attacks take place in the Gulf of Aden.
