on the evolution issue, and global warming we all know what happened so lets dot deny it any more

1. their is no evolution theory, just a list of species chuck norris let live!
2. the dinosaurs died becuase chuck norris round house kicked them all!
3. Global Warming is the side effect of the chuck norris round house kick, the speed at which his leg moves at causes the air to move (realy realy realy fast) and this generates heat. with an average of 361 round house kicks a day this causes a lot of heat

The earth is getting warmer. My reaction is: So what? It's done that many times before, it has got a lot hotter than this (I think I read once that grapes used to be grown in north england at the time of the Romans) and it also has got a lot colder than this. The earth will get warmer and colder and us puny creatures have very little influence if any at all. Foz may remember the days where the experts all predicted an impending ice age or at least "global cooling". It's quite ridiculous how fickle so called scientists are.

I think that shouldn't change our efforts to be green though and more responsible with our waste. We still have a duty to look after our earth and it's resources for future generations.

Whatever, whether or not its global warming I think its a fantastic idea to be green. Were running out of oil and thats a fact I'm quite sure so we need to find another way to power things quick.

Yea it didn't really hit me till I started writing the post and it was kinda, wait theres billions of people on the planet earth and we all breath. We breath out CO2 (unless I'm wrong) and and thats gotta be A LOT of CO2 going out there.

Not only that but what about our body heat? I mean we all radiate atleast a little bit of heat and the average global temp has only risen like .6 degrees celsius (no joke you can quote me on that) since the last 100 years and our population has something like doubled!!!!!!

There sure is, but methane will cause global warming at a much faster rate than carbon dioxide.

I doubt anybody on these forums is qualified to say that global warming is caused (or sped up) by humans or not, but quite frankly, I don't care. You only live one life, so why should we have to spend it being restricted and taxed because what we do isn't 'green' enough? I'd like to spend the rest of my days zipping about in an F-4 Phantom - perhaps over the headquarters of the Green Party.

Math time...

we haven't been recording weather (or been on earth for that matter) long enough to say there is (or isn't) global warming. The earth is 4.5 billion years old (thats 4,500,000,000 years) humans have been on earth for at the most 100,000 years!!! Humans have been on earth for 0.22% of earths life!!!! And we have only just begun recording the climate!!!!!

4,500,000,000 / 1,000,000 = 0.000022

That's   0.0022%  ;)
