The hog was taken with a Smith & Wesson customized .50 caliber revolver shooting 350 grain bullets. The 11 year old boy is Jamison Stone.

Just what every 11 year old should own...   :P

A 350 grain load in 50 caliber is really quite light. Also notice the revolver used has a muzzle brake.
I shoot 246 grain .44 Special and 300 grain .45 long Colt. In 45/70 I shoot from 300 grain up to 540 grain, and there is a revolver made in 45/70.

OK, but you are 45, not 11. I still have my doubts. This was not a one shot wonder, "he" hit a moving target with 7 shots............according to the news. In fact I am not sure what is more scary, a pig that big, or an 11 year old with such gun handling capabilities.

Telling Porkies

The last line is a good one:

Another agreed that "it seems a little fishy" but gave Jamison some benefit of the doubt: "If this is true, then my hat is off to the boy because he has bigger potatoes than i do."

I was waiting for a blood test and CNN was on.  They showed an interview with the guy and his son.  The interview was prerecored, from a previous broadcast, and when they returned to the desk, the anchor started cracking up uncontrollably.  He was laughing for over a minute.
