Very Interesting topic:

During my aviation career I can't ever remember seeing something that could not be explained.
Mind you I have had a couple of co-pilots that took a couple of hours to figure out. :)
I have flown over some very desolate, inhospitable terrain in all kinds of weather at night and not once have I seen Captain Kirk or his friends pop up abeam of us. :)

Now having said that I also have to say I do believe in ETs as we (the old girl and I) have had an encounter.

Yes and it was this year, we went over to the big smoke, (that is the city of Montreal in Quebec, Canada) for you city slickers. :)

We were visiting some friends and we were right in the middle of the city when we saw a whole bunch of them ETs.
Yup, they was talking a foreign language and waving their arms all about.
Some of them were bald as a billiard ball and had designs painted on their heads.
There were also some with orange, green, blue and purple hair, stuck way up in the air their hair was.
We even saw a bunch of them with rings, large and small attached to their noses and eyebrows.

The old girl and my eyes were as big as saucers. :o

The old girl said maybe I should have brought along my 38 revolver as we were not sure if these ETs were all that friendly or not.

Our friends told us these ETs are everywhere now and they seem to be friendly.

Well the old girl and I are firm believers in ETs now because we have seen them with our own two eyes. ;)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

BTW, haven't some sub-atomic particles been found to move faster than light?

No, not yet.  Every few years some scientist claims to have found such a thing.  They write articles, get their name in the news, but under peer review it always turns out to be something more mundane.  Instrument error, etc.  As of yet nothing has been observed traveling faster than the speed of light.  The cosmic rays mentioned earlier are the fastest atomic particles known.  There are faster sub atomics I believe but none of them travel faster than light.

I can imagine the look on every skeptics' eyes when one of these days an alien ship drops by out of hyperspace over a big city and tells us all that they have traveled halfway across the galaxy only to ask us to stop throwing crap into space as it's pissing off the local alien environmentalists. ;D

They're out there somewhere, in a galaxy far, far away.  If we're super lucky, maybe a radio signal will someday drift in.  Until then, it's:

"I saw a UFO once.  It had all these lights and things.  And it sent me a message:  It said I was gonna have a good year."  (paraphrased from 'That 70's Show')

Exactly! because its Mass will increase in undesireable ways and if it reach it(300.000Kmps) its mass would become Infinite and there no such thing as infinite mass in the whole universe, and if it would our universe will look very diferent that we get use to see it
