Too much of a fan of the H.G. Wells book and Jeff Wayne version to bother with watching this I think. A remake of a bad B-Movie adaptation of a classic novel. No thanks.
Does no-one in Hollywood know how to write origional material these days?

Apparently not. What happened to movie-making anyways?
It has become food for the stupid masses. :/

What a disappointment it was for me.....as a young boy, my father used to read us some classic story when we were out camping......use the two weeks to spread the story out by only reading a few pages each night in the dark tent........
This movie holds none of the original captivating attention I was taken by in those days, due to the mere fact that, the mind can conjure up images far better than any image which is presented on a flat 2D screen.....no matter how loud they try to impress the sound upon your brain !
