"Punch Cloud" Phenomenon

I recently came across a website that showed an image of a
mysterious hole in a cloud. They explained it as the result of a HAARP
test. Now I hit another Website that gave this phenomenon the name "Punch Cloud". With this info I could find a lot of
sites dealing with this issue. The conspiracy guys say it

Very interesting. My guess just from looking at that picture is that its an isolated pressure difference causing the water vapor and ice crystals in the cloud to fall or rise out of that one particular area. I doubt an aircraft had anything to do with it. Also, what is HAARP?

Iow I hit another Website that gave this phenomenon the name "Punch Cloud".

Actually, the name given to them is Hole-Punch Cloud.  You know, as if someone used a hole-punch (a device used to punch holes in paper) on the clouds...

I like Tactiblue's explanation.

Maybe a pressure difference caused by abnormal heating?  Ozone holes come to mind here.

I hate people who do the conspiracy thing.  I mean come ooon!  alien spacecraft in Area 51?  Moon landing hoax?  

Really people, if you want to believe something believe mine:  Microsoft, Starbucks Coffee, and Ferrari are all teaming up to take over the world using mind control.  Microsoft is developing tiny computers that Starbucks puts in their coffee to control our minds.  London is the first place to be taken over, there is 2 Starbucks Coffee houses every block.  And Ferrari?  I don't know how they fit into the equation, but I'm sure they have somehting to do with it!
