Well my sister has set up her own small business for our local area, she has designed some leaflets and she has put the email address at the top. Its a Yahoo! email address, and will putting this on a leaflet obide any copyright or terms and conditions do you think...just wondering, always one step ahead!

I can't imagine it causing any legal issues, it is after all an email address.

But I might suggest spending even just a few dollars to register a domain and use that.  It'll give her business just a little more credibility.

I know when I see a business and it's an @aol or @yahoo email address, I kind of wonder how legitimate the business is. ;)

Oh yeah fully understand, but there is plenty of cleaning businesses in the area and i feel that just a normal email address would add functionality.
She's been in the business for 2 years now, but its only just fully developed.

I've seen some places where you can get your own custom e-mail address @whatever domain you want.com for not a whole lot of money instead of actually buying a website domain

Well im from the uk. So your telling me my sister can have a website and a personalised email address for pretty cheap...she seems interested...
Can anyone point me in a GOOD direction for uk domains?

As andrew said there are Hotmail type email services that allow you to choose both parts of the address. That would be the way to go, although I see nothing wrong with an @yahoo.com.

There's a company called HEART ......... they have free domain hosting and registering a domain costs about
