Hey, sorry I have been so absent from the graphic forums. I am still here but I just got my new machine last week and have been tweaking it with our old friend Ramsa. What an experience this has been! The sim is so real it is scary!

That rig is so nice, especially the CPU, RAM, GFX card and ....er..... everything actually.

Oh, and my wife only knows about some of the stuff! She would kill me! Thank god for my company credit card!  ;D
When I started this monster up, it sounded like an air conditioner. Hey, with 6 cooling fans what do you expect! My wife could not even hear the TV in the room next to me. Something had to be done,...so here is what I did.
My office at home is next to my den. Directly under my office is the basement. I drilled a 3 inch hole in the hardwood floor under the desk, sssshhh don't tell her, and then built a shelf in the basement directly under me. This is where the PC now sits. All my USB, Mouse cables, joystick cables, etc.... reach. Now it is perfectly quiet! No fans, no nothing. I turn her off and on by just pressing the sleep button on my keyboard. Everybody is happy!!
When I need to burn or access drives, I still have my old VAIO system networked to the one in the basement!
