Sir Peter Ustinov....died today...

Postby Fozzer » Mon Mar 29, 2004 1:15 pm

For those who remember him, Sir Peter Ustinov died today at the age of 82 years.
A great actor and raconteur and overall delightful person.

He had a sense of humour and wit, which greatly amused me.
And a command of many languages, many of which he made up on the fly much to everyones amusement.

Another irreplaceable individual who will be greatly missed.
...especially by me...

Paul.

Yup, that explains it. I can count the number of hours that I have watched Brit/Euro TV in my life on one finger, so it figures that I have never heard of him. Condolances to all here who liked his work.

Yes, a great actor.

Most recently I have listened to him quite a bit on Discovery Wings channel.  He did the narrative on all the shows about Russian aircraft.
