I had one introduction lesson in Lelystad Holland with Martinair. It were the most beautifull 20 minutes of my life. So I'm gonna take lessons in about a half a year.
In the controls poll someone said that real flying is nothing like F$, but that lesson I took was almost the same, we had strong winds so the movement of the aircraft was different. Flight Simulator is for as far is I know really realistic.

Half an hour in a Piper Cherokee 180. ;D

Brilliant!  I might get back up soon as I'm going to apply for some flying scholarships through the cadets this year now I'm old enough... ;)

We've done this several times, and some are
most likely tired of my story, But who cares
about them!!!! ;D

About 1200 hrs logged, bad eyes, never got
a lience!
Learned in a 8E Luscombe, have flown many
differant aircraft, the best was Mr. Mulligan!!
The biggest was a B-25, the best flying was
a Greatlakes biplane! Most hrs in 310.
This is over about 45 years!!

PS For those who didn't see it in my other
post, Kimber starts flying leasons Tue. :(

Loadsa hours on the de Havilland Chipmunk, quite a few hours on the An-2, a couple of hours on various Cessnas, and recently (a couple of weeks ago and I'm still bragging about it!) 3 hours on an Mi-24.

Ozzy ;D

PS. Done lots of hours as a passenger in numerous aircraft (even jumped out of a couple, but that was no reflection on the pilot, its what I wanted to do :o)

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Second got me launching myself bodily out of aeroplanes.
Fun if someone else is paying you too.
Still fun if you have to pay for yourself.

My first excursion was from the rear door of
a C-130, with a very large, very black,[very good man] sargent, yelling "RUN! RUN! RUN!", I was
well away from the AC before I saw the ground,
after that, it's no big deal!!! ;D

Well, my old boss & flying instructor once told me he would never consider jumping from a plane with the correct amount of wings still attached. Some 40 years later I'm still inclined to think he was right. ::) :P

PS. I might make a exception if it was on fire.

I've got about 10 hours on various light aircraft, C172, 152, Piper tomohawk, Jodel etc. I also flew grob Vikings in the ATC. And like Ozzy I willingly fall out of C.206s. Another couple of jumps and I'll be able to start AFF ;D.

1 Hour in a Beechcraft Skipper. MY recent TIF. The bloke let me fly the whole hour, even the landing (with some assistance). All he did was take off and get it to 2000.

Nifty thing, this flying, I really like it. I'll have to try a bigger plane though, the Skipper was way too small for my bod.  ;D ;)

I was going to respond, when I caught BRENSEC'S penguin thing, and just about peed myself. That de-railed my train of thought.              Oh yeah, I fly for a living, but generally the passengers don't like it when you roll inverted and crash the airplane, so I have my real fun when I come home and get on the computer. :o
.....so I loaded up the plane and moved to Middle-EEEE..........OIL..that is......
