Are you sure you mean 'turbine'? A jet engined 58 would be rather interesting.

If you search for 'turbo' it may be more appropriate.

Red on White you're alright.

No I mean turbine, I want to turn them into turboprops like these  http://www.rocketengineering.com/.      A jet baron would be cool though

I have heard of the turbine duke and the bonanza before.  In my opinion the Duke needed it.  A turbine Baron, I can only imagine.  I have flown in a Baron 55 with the 300 hp conversion. Climbing 2000 fpm with four large guys in the plane is simply impressive.

I often have this argument with Folks over Engine type descriptions!...;)....!

For me, a "Turbine", or "Turbo Shaft" Engine is similar to the Pratt and Whitney PT6 Engine, for example, fitted to the King Air, which turns the propeller.

A "Turbo" Engine, is a Piston Engine turning the propeller, and fitted with an exhaust driven "Turbocharger" for increased power (compressed air)....the difference between a standard Beech Baron 58, and a "Turbo" Beech Baron 58..;)...!

The other Engines, which "Blow" me forward, without a propeller, I call "Jet Engines", or or Gas Turbine" Engines, or "Turbo Fan" Engines.

....my three-pennyworth!...;)...!

Paul....In a "Turmoil" over Engines!.... ;D...!

The whole excersize is kinda pontless, unless you have access to the visual model. If you're gonna "pretend" that those big, flat piston nacelles hold turbine engines.. you might as well just pretend the KingAir is a Baron (and give it Turbine Baron performance).

And there's the instrument panel..  it'll have to be re-worked too..  and the VC.. and on, and on..
