Just a few little niggling problems

Postby Skarden » Thu Mar 05, 2009 6:36 am

Hey guys just a few questions for a few little quirks that i cant seem to figure out.

1.The racing P-51 that ships with acceleration, where is the fuel gauge?? I can find the fuel presure guage but not the fuel level guage :/ I'm doing a round trip of australia as a warm up for a full world trip and it would pretty usefull to see for when i need to know when to land and when i can push on to the next strip.

2.I have free flights set up to start with a cold dark cockpit(thanks to the guys here for helping me with that! ~S~) i try and go through the proper start up procedure if i can(ie,have the time) but sometimes just go for the ctrl+e option if I'm just having a quick fly.

I'v been getting very much into the choppers of late and the bell206 is my fav of the moment(especially with the very excellent hi res repaint by the very talented guys at Ozx) but after installing the UKMIL Boeing Chinook HC2/1 47d I unistalled it as i didnt like the cockpit(im a picky bugger,I know) but i found that ctrl+e no longer works in the bell206!
I checked the procedure and it hasnt got the proper start up for that chopper ! :( so atm i cant fly my fav chopper, any help would be great.

3.Just a small one to bug you guys with last. When in the choppers any loss in altitude results in a consent and very annoying "dont sink! dont sink!)It's making low level valley flying very frustating!
surely there's a way to turn this off.

Thanks in advance guys

For the Bell206, you have to put the "mixture" to 100 % and also the "prop pitch" to 100% (CTRL+SHIFT+F4 and CTRL+F4). Then the CTRL+E should work.

There's an option in the controls section that's labeled "Inhibit GPWS" Set a button for that and you should be set.

As far as the P-51, why in the world would you take a Racing aircraft around the world?

Anyway, beacuse its a racing aircraft there is no fuel gauge. I don't really know how it works but I assume the crew generally knows how much fuel the aircraft uses in a race or they just give it full tanks.
