List of must haves for new user

Hello all, new user to FSX but not to FS.

I've been tinkering on the site with the downloads and have added a few aircraft, some very good, some not so good at all.

What I was wondering is if anyone could give a new user a list of quality addons - aircraft, scenery, that you would put on your must have list..
North American Scenery and livery preffered.

It would make it easier for a new user to get started adding on.

Looking for simple installs (not grab this panel, this sound file, this etc to make it work)

I have a good system, so I'm looking for some good models and nice scenery upgrades.
