Lights on the Goose

Postby Goofyfish » Tue Jan 13, 2009 5:54 am

I find it a bit irritating that MS seems to have mapped all the lights on the aircraft to a single (landing lights) switch so it's either all or nothing.  Has anyone seen a mod out there that corrects this?

There are switches in the cockpit? Who knew??

::)

Fly it. Throw the cockpit switch for landing lights. Everything turns off except instruments and beacon.

Uhhhhhhhhhhh, in the "settings" section of the main menu, look for controllers (on the right), then you can assign/reassign any key to any command you can imagine! :D

Hi

To get the lighting in the Goose something like it should be, you could try changing the lights section to the one below (make a backup of the original aircraft,cfg first), the only thing that it

Hi again

I forgot to mention that although the taxi lights will show as an effect on the aircraft wings, they will not appear to illuminate the ground in front of the aircraft, as this is again hard coded into the model file, and the way its set up they still only work with the landing light switch thrown, sorry about that.
