Been outta the loop for awhile...but there should be a help button on the program that explains how to create the animation.
HP Pavillion = p7-1233w

24GB of RAM (Windows 7 Home Premium only allows for 16GB though) :'(

I have not seen it in Instant Scenery. If its an anamation I shoud be able to place the one thats at L08 on the Air port I am creating.

Something I found just last week seems to do the job very easily - it claims to only be valid for use in FS2004, but the beacon & tower appear in FSX SP-2 without any problem:

(apologies for the outside link, couldn't find the same utility here)

Creating a Sailplane Airport in the desert by Salton Sea.
Tow more things to figure out and it will be done.
Plants showing through were they shouldn't
and the wind socks not moving.

If you used Instant Scenery to place your windsock it is static. what you need to do is place your windsock using ADE, and it will work. As far as everything else " I FEEL YOUR PAIN " , I'm trying to figure out how to get the flag on a flagpole to blow in the breeze! If I learn anything I'll pass it along.

You guys are all looking for the same things I was a couple of weeks ago for my own scenery project. For a good animated windsock, try this:

http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/downlo ... 3&act=down

It comes in .mdl format so will have to be converted to .bgl and added to a scenery library folder (Instant Scenery has a library object converter so it's pretty easy to do).

For animated flags, first obtain the base flag files for their textures:

http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Sea ... &Go=Search

then, get this to create working flags:

http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Sea ... &Go=Search

Apologies for linking to another site, this is the only place I've found them.
