Hawk

Very strange I have never seen this before.
I was flying a sailplane out of Ocotillo, CA
and a Hawk sailed by.   :-?
Tried to turn out to see it again but could not.

Where, when, How.
Pretty nice sailing with a Hawk. I have not seen any settings for that.

Hawks/eagles are part of the FSX default environment. They are spawned in thermals.

In the Settings>Display>Weather tab, setting the "Thermal Virtualization' to 'Natural' yields the hawks/eagles. Setting to 'Schematic' yields green spirals.

That Explains it I have it on Natural.

I had 2 eagles,I think they were eagles,come out when I was flying in Sierra Nevada. Went to take the pic and hit the joystick which sort of ruined the shot. In the second shot you can still see them in the distance. Funny, I went back to look closer and they just disappeared. Never did see them again. Oh well,it was still cool.
