This is the original FS2002 version in the FSX Demo. Note it has a 3D panel or DVC. (I didn't try the included gauges as they will most likely not be FSX compatible.)

It's also a much smaller download. I can't guarantee it will be fully compatible with FSX + SP1/2.

I think we should all chip in and buy Hagar FSX.

Maybe Pete could control donations and when all of us have collectively achieved the required amount,FSX will be posted to Hagar.

For as many things that he has fixed and solved for people I think that's a great Idea! :) If the FTX forum can join together and get AlexanderDZ a complete set of FTX stuff, surely we can join in and get Hagar a copy of FSX Gold.  ;)

Thanks for the kind suggestions. I'm touched. :-[

I could easily afford to purchase FSX Gold but I would also need a new machine to run it on. Better if I stick to the newbie questions most people can't be bothered with. This hobby has become far too technical for me but the basics don't change.

MS used to send me preview editions of all their new sims before they were released to the public. I like to think I repaid that many times over with help & tutorials. Unfortunately that all stopped with FSX.

Hi,Hagar.

I thought as I posted that machinery might be a problem and also that you may not want to be overwhelmed with a new wave of questions.

Hey!! I posted it anyway!

It was intended to be a 'Thank You' for the many hours that you have put in over more years than some here can remember(including me)and your sound advice(that some of us ignored-to our peril!).

Thank you very much for your efforts.

Col.
