Acceleration Website

Postby idahosurge » Sat Nov 22, 2008 12:28 pm

There was a website somewhere that I believe was supported by Microsoft and had to do with updates to FSX.  Does anyone know the address?  I want to know if MS ever released a manual for the FA18A.

There isn't a manual, but there is a forum that has more information

I know about the forums over at fsdreamteam.

The website that I was looking for was fsinsider, just looked an nothing about a manual being released.

Acceleration has been out for over a year and I have to say that I think it is pretty sad that MS never released a manual for this plane, pretty darn sad.

Not sure why you posted the link Steve, nothing about an F/A-18A manual that I can see.

Oh sorry......I didn't see that part in your post about the F-18 manual.  Don't know how I missed that.....I thought you just wanted a link to the ACCEL website.   Sorry bout that!

Hi Folks

idahosurge -
The FSX Acceleration F/A 18 gauges were made by FS DreamTeam.

The link supplied above
contains the most comprehensive gauge instructions.

Have you looked in the FSX Learning Centre ?

All the basic info is under -
Index -
- Boeing F/A-18 Hornet
-- Flight notes
-- Flying jets
-- Specifications

As per all other FSX aircraft,
there is no standalone manual.

Perhaps you already know, but a new F/A-18E is coming out for FS9 next month (and FSX to follow later) that according to the builders and those in beta will do everything the real bird can do - track AI, hands off throttle cat shots, in-air refuel, fire/drop weapons with reduced weight and drag - and it follows the NATOPS manual used by the US Navy.
