Bad frames in MP?

Postby Wii » Thu Nov 13, 2008 9:15 am

I can't say that I have had this problem before (as I don't recall...) but recently I have been flying a lot with Eastern Hops online... whenever I am around other active flyers (within a few miles or less of them) no matter what my settings are set at, my framerate immediately drops to 15 or less. Does anyone know why it is doing this? It makes it REALLY hard to control the aircraft with so much stuttering.
My current settings and tweaks are around medium low, low and high in some areas. Flying single player I get 50fps (thanks Nick :D) and on the ground in Single I get no less than 25. Multiplayer in the air I get 30+ and on the ground 10-. Any ideas? Is it my system or my internet connection? Thanks :-/

..In FS 2004 Multiplayer, you (and everyone else) are requested to lock your Frame Rates to 20 FPS to prevent Bandwidth Overload resulting in the problem you mentioned!... :o...!
