looking for settings optimisation

Hi moved back from fs9 after finally upgrading my system, fully installed up to SP2. looking for optimum settings for the following, for best quality and frame rate.
Core 2 Duo 3gb
2gb ddr2 ram
Ati HD3870 512mb pci-e.
2 x sata2 250gb
Runs rail simulator at 40fps.

If you look above this section at the "Important Topics" area there is a thread "FSX clean instal.... "  

It has everything you need to optomise FSX and your computer thanks to resident guru NickN.  

Work your way through that and your life will be changed.
