A little F-16 help please

Postby gotbst05 » Wed Oct 15, 2008 8:48 pm

I just recently installed the Viper files. I installed everyone that I could find so that everything would work right, but it's still not. I don't have a heads up display and none of my instrument panels work (ex. altimeter, heading, etc.). Any and all help would be greatful. Thanks in advance

In the FSX Military section there are two or three updates for Kirk's plane.  Download them all, try them all and see what works best on your system.  The VC is opaque so if you want to use the VC you will need to change the alpha channel, do a search in this forum and there are two or three threads that explain what you need and how to do it.

I never use the VC, but I can tell you that in the 2D cockpit not all of the gauges work, some are only for show!

I think the updates are for an A model, if you want to fly the C or D just transfer the panel that works to the C and D folder.

Do not use the panel for Kirk's F16 that is in the FSX Panels section, it does not work.

Keep in mind that this is a plane for FS9 and it is not going to work perfectly in FSX.
