thumbnail photos

I needed thumbnail photos for some of my downloaded aircraft texture files however, the thumbnail files came in the form of "bitmap". How can I convert that to JPEG tyoe of file?

Open the images in any graphics editing program like MS Paint, IrfanView etc. Click File/Save As & save the files in JPEG format. They must be named thumbnail.jpg.
