Read this if you are about to install Acceleration

If you have downloaded textures for the default fsx aircraft and are about to install acceleration... BACK UP YOUR AIRCRAFTS >CFG FILE!!!!! When you install fsx Acceleration it updates the .cfg file and wipes out your entries.

a little warning about this warning

DO NOT overwrite the new config files with the ones you backed up!

You must manually make the edits to the new configs from the old or you will be wiping out other changes acceleration upgraded with the install

and by the way

Accleration backed up ALL your original configs in a folder inside the FSX folder named: D:\Flight Simulator X\Setup\XPackCache

so you DID NOT lose anything.. the original configs are in that folder
