New VC-25

Postby Rich H » Wed Oct 01, 2008 11:53 am

I downloaded the new VC-25, problem is, the landing gear doesn't exactly look right. The nose gear is locked in a right position, and the centre gear is in it's position for landing. I know this plane is made for FS2004, but all my other 747-200s work. Anyone know a fix?

Indeed.

It was also locked in the left or right position.

But do you know how to fix it? Not the Jet blue plane, the VC-25.

If it's the JetBlue incident you refer to:

If it's the VC-25, I can imagine it's from POSKY...?

I was posting something asking about this VC-25 in the fs2004 forums. I wasnt going to download it but I wanna see what the wheels turn out to be.

I remember that jetBlue incident, although a A320 and 747 are totally opposite.
Try posting something on Posky's Forum im sure they could help. ;)

Just visited the forum at POSKY and I need to know...
Are comments like this one from POSKY's forum pretty common?
This is from the Admin. when someone asked about how to install the VC-25 properly.

"What ProjectSky VC-25 and E-4B?

You mean the Project Opensky VC-25 and E-4B?

We'll release it after we finish it, if we decide on making it.

Don't make model requests, don't ask for release dates. "

That seemed like a VERY rude response to a simple mistake on a simple question.

Yea, you have to really search the forums there before you ever even think of asking a question. Or else you may get some very rude comments. Granted.... most of what is being asked is already in their knowledge base section anyways.

The nosegear on mine was just fine. But there were similar issues with the 777 main gear.... they may release a fix to correct the problem eventually, but dont quote me on that.

-EDIT-

A quick browse there, and I found this...

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Thanks, all fixed now. Also works for my other Posky 747s.
