Acceleration drrives me crazy! :(

Postby Hunsnowboarder » Sun Sep 14, 2008 8:03 am

Hi there Everyone. I am very angry and dissappointed with my problem. Previously I had MS FSX with some add ons installed. There were no problems with the game, no lagging, everything was allright. Then I installed Acceleration and... I thought I go crazy!!! The game started laaaggggiiiinnnngggg... What I realized that the lagging is very heavy when I am at or I am approaching the Megaairport Budapest Hungary (this is an addon scenery). This is an add on of the Budapest airport. What should I do????? Do I have to uninstall everything ???? All the addons and FSX??? Cant I just uninstall Acceleration somehow?? System restore unfortunatelly is not an option for me as I do not have system restore running.
Isn't there another solution??? Thank you in advance for your help!

I don't know what's happening, but what I know for sure is that it's a TERRIBLE idea to install Acceleration on a FSX which is not freshly intalled. Your FSX had alrady addons and everything, you shoud not have installed Acceleration in that state.

What was your previous FSX version ? SP1 ? SP2 ? I guess you're heading toward a complete uninstall and disk cleaning, and then complete reinstall in the old-school way (fresh retail FSX with no addons and no patch, and directly Acceleration over it).

Well first, is the game only lagging when you approach that airport? Or is it laggy whenever you fly?  It may only be that airport.
