FSX mysteriously disappearing AA

Postby Wii » Mon Sep 01, 2008 11:24 am

Just picked up playing FSX a week ago and from then the AA hasn't been working...I have the AA box checked but nothing? I know Nick has a thread about using nHancer but is that valid for Vista? Does the 7.15.11.6906 driver need to be updated? Help me out here...I haven't applied any major tweaks to FSX yet because I am still unsure with Vista....

nHancer definitely recommended for Vista.

I know you probably don't want to hear this...

But the solution to AA that runs away...is to disable AA on your video card...and enable it in FSX.  :-/

see

make sure to set it up on PROFILE and GLOBAL exactly the same

The new Nhancer is required for newer Nv drivers so do make sure you keep up to date on your Nhancer version. They have made alot of changes since I posted that list which makes it much easier to use but the settings are exactly the same

You do not need to duplicate the profile anymore... just locate it and edit it. Also, set AA to 8xCombined or 4xCombined, not supersample.. that was changed in Nhancer some time ago
