2D pop up panels and VC

Hi all, is there any way to stop 2D pop up panels in the VC from disappearing every time you switch views? It's really annoying, especially when you're using FS2Crew or the new MD80 by CoolSky.

I find it irritating also. i just push shift+(a number) to pull up the panel i want.

I do not know if it will work with what you are using, but with GPS I right click on the the GPS panel and then select "Undock".
