To make a YouTube video, it's best to use FS Recorder (search Google for it).

Record the flight, then use a capture program like Fraps (Google) to make a file you can use outside of FSX.

Edit the footage with a program of your choice, and upload :)

But on the free version, you can only record 30 seconds.

30 seconds is more than enough. In movie making, segments seldom last more than that. Using FS Recorder's playback controls and Fraps you capture the segments.

The segments are then spliced/edited together to form the movie. Windows Movie Maker. which ships with Windows, can do the splicing/editing.

For examples of what can be accomplished browse http://www.simteevee.com/

Picked at random, this one shows what can be done with free Fraps and Windows Movie Maker, http://www.simteevee.com/watch.php?mdid=268&t=Simply+the+Best, including transitions and sound track.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Well I use fraps now...
Full Version but try using BSR Screen Recorder 4. I have many videos where I used that..
Although it records the auto bad..
If you want find any screen recorder then get Windows Movie Maker (free search it on google) then you can like cut out, add music, mute the game, add transitions, add effects, and all sorts of stuff. ;)
