i just came across Runway12.....does this work for FSX or is it strickly for FS9 and is it worth getting?

Believe it is intended for FS9, although scenery created with it might work somewhat in FSX. I use Instant Scenery which is payware but allows using a variety of libraries (including those from Runway12) for placement in either FS9 or FSX. Other similar programs are available specifically for FSX, one that comes to mind is Whisplacer, and therefore might be a better option. One other thing to consider, if you make scenery for distribution, you will need to either include the addon libraries (with permission) or else provide a link to where they can be obtained from.
