Why in the world is this happening??????

Ok I download an aircraft such as the 757-300 by opensky or whatever install it and i go to use it, plane shows up but no paint, just a white plane!

Also go to look at the gauges and they are blank like they are turned off, but you can't turn em on. I should note that the inside of the aircraft is white too!, if ya need i can do a screen shot if that would help anyone better understand what in the world is going on. I have re installed FSX 3 times already, and i have SP1 and SP2 installed as well

Texture problem.

You sure you installed it right?

I believe so, the directions said to copy the contents of the gauges folder into the main fsx gauge folder same as with the effects. then copy and paste the aircraft folder into simobjects/airplanes.

the past few weeks I have been having nothing but issues with fsx, its also done this to previously installed aircraft that were just fine before but now do the same crap.

Was the texture set correctly added to the aircraft.cfg file?

To the first bit, are you running the game in Direct X 10 preview mode? If you are, this can cause some texture problems... try turning it off and trying again.

You need to install sp2

I do believe I have that set to Direct X 10, I will try that and let you know what happens.

Alrot i do have Sp2 installed  :)   Thank you for everyones input i will see what happens with the direct x 10 an let ya know what happens

Ok the Direct X 10 was the culprit!  Thank you to whomever gave me that advice! model has full color now like it should only issue are the gauges dont show anything when ya press like shift+3  they either show up as black or like they aren't and can not be turned on such as no power.

And the auto pilot doesn't seem to work in that model as well. Thanks again guys!
