Change Weather in a mission?

I've had a blast racing Mustangs at the virtual Reno Air Races, but now it is time to make the weather more realistic. Can I change the winds in either of the Reno Racing Missions? How about changing weather in the Reno Air Race multiplayer setup? My weather link is disabled when I try to change winds in a mission or in the multi-player mode.

Can I save a mission under a new name and then change weather?

I'd sure like to get a good crosswind from the southwest blowing for the unlimited race to make the thing more realistic. Any suggestions appreciated.

Well I dont think you can change the weather in the default missions but there is a possibility if you can change something in a .cfg folder, or any other folder.

If not then I think they dont let you becuase it makes the mission harder or easyier..

Maybe someone has a file change for you that your looking for but I wouldent get your hopes to high.. :-/

When selecting a mission, check the "allow changes in missions" box.

During the mission, press alt gr to bring up the top menu, and do whatever changes you want.

No problem!  :)

Be aware though, that you won't be able to get any awards whilst the box is checked.
