Help! My brakes have jammed!

Postby Hotshot » Fri Jul 18, 2008 12:48 pm

Started up FSX as usual. Red 'brakes' showing.  Doesn't respond to dot key,  or Ctrl/dot, or brake lever on my stick. Brakes are locked solid. Impossible to take off. This applies to any aircraft, airfield, or saved flight.  I'm totally stuck. Advice would be veey welcome indeed!

Have you made sure that the brake button on your joystick isn't stuck?

"B" in FSX is for the Barometric Presure for that altimeter.

I had that happen, was cured by deleting the fsx.cfg file.

Yea I know that, but the Brake Warning was flashing on my screen awhile back when I was taking a screen-shot. Period key didn't work. For some reason I hit the B key and it disappeared. Just a shot in the dark, but it worked. It was kind of weird to see the brake warning while flying. FSX works in mysterious ways sometimes.  ;D
