Cabin Lights

Postby Scott Mc » Sun Jul 13, 2008 12:46 pm

I Have some planes that the cabin lights are not working. An example would be the Howard 500 and several others. I have fooled around with the aircraft cfg with no luck. Has anyone solved this one?

Just a note to the forums. I have gotten great results asking questions here and getting really good answers. Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to help new people like myself.

I have looked at the panel.cfg and I think my question shoul be panel lights or instument lights.

I have the Howard 500 in FSX and the cabin and instrument panel lights work fine. I use the VC panel. Turn all lights on with L key. Then I turn the landing lights off with Ctrl+L. Turn cabin lights on and off with switch on lower panel with engine start on it. Turn instrument lights on and off with switch on top center of main VC panel. One odd thing is the nav lights throw light to the side like landing lights.
I have SP1 in FSX but not SP2. Tried SP2 and took it out as it screwed up to many planes that I like.

May want to check that the required VC light effect files are correctly installed ;)

I am beginning to think its my video driver. I have two 9600GTs SLI. Driver version 175.16, I have talked to several people who are not having the same issue. My tool tip bar also has black blocks sometimes. I have done a complete uninstall. Including all folders and registry references. Re installed clean and applied SP1 and SP2.

Thanks in advance
