Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but what does it mean when it says "Do not migrate the fsx.cfg file you have"?  Am I suppose to copy the current one some place and rename it, change the renamed file and then save the renamed file with the origianl file name in the original location?

Do not migrate means do not use an OLD FSX.cfg file when you reinstall FSX

Always start with a CLEAN FSX.cfg and make any edits to it manually


in other words, dont use ANY saved FSX.cfg files when you do a clean or new install of FSX
