FSX CTDs with Vista 64

Hello everybody, just update, my French friend is coming over Monday evening and he is going to reset the bios to default i.e 3.0 ghz which I hope might be the problem rather than drivers for the ATI card.
Will let you know how I get on.

Hello everybody and my thanks to Nick.N for pointing me in the right direction.
I have reset the bios to the default settings and hey presto no more crashing of FSX! A salutatory lesson in how not to overclock. I think I will leave the processor @ 3.ghz for the time being and read up myself on overclocking. As the system was built here in France the setup screen is in French so first I have to change that if I can. Therefore it was not my ATI 3870 x 2 which I was blaming. However I still wish I had installed a Nvidia 8800 Ultra instead as the frame rates are not as high as I hoped.
