Easier:

Get Acceleration.

Get the aicarriers2r2.zip from here

You'll have just what you need.

I use Acceleration with the carrier addon pack mentioned above for carrier ops. It allows you to add carriers in free flight that you can land and take off using the cables and catapult assist

Get the aicarriers2r2.zip from Avsim.

You'll have just what you need.

Naw, the "carrier" looks really "cartoony." FD5 looks like a real professional art job, but my questions are more towards the performance aspect of the package. I'd hate to cheapen the FSX look, since the default scenery is so nice.
