Sky Banding

Hi all,

With a 9600 GT and nHancer 2.4.1 +174.74 drivers I now get sky banding (bands of color in the sky especially apparent at dawn and night).

Resolution: 1920x1200@32 bits.
(different resoultions no difference)

This did not occur with a 8800 GTX which blew up.

Intell dual core@2.4

ALL of Nick N suggestions applied.

FSX stock sky + FEX clouds(culumus+cirrus)(occurs with or without FEX clouds)
GTX USA, GEXI,FSGensis

Any suggestions appreciated.

Never seen this before

Banding is typically low res or poor LCD quality, or, a corrupt texture

Thank you for checking in. It may well be time to install a separate drive for FSX and reinstall everything or try a repair which I have done succesfully before or complete reinstall on the one C drive.

I will probably try the repair first.

Will pass on any results.

The Gateway monitor seems to be Ok.
