nHancer new release...ohh "Doctor"!

Will the "Doc" at some point create an updated list on setting up the new version of nHancer? (2.4.1)

I "think" I have it properly set up, but there are a few new items that are for multicore rigs, SLI etc, which I don't  have as of yet....

For instance:

Compatibility Tab, open GL multi display mode, there's three options, I
would imagine that for a "single display" it should be set as such?

As always, your help is appreciated!

The list is the same for every version there is no difference with the exception of the change from Supersample to Combined for the 8XS setting

What is it you are missing?

If you use 2 cards, I dont use SLi so with that one you are on your own or you need to find someone who can suggest SLi settings

The setting you posted is for OpenGL and FSX is a D3D game so it does not matter what its set to.... but if you are on a single monitor, single makes sense

Here's my Q:

You list to do this under vertical sync option:

VERTICAL SYNC: CHECKED, Bullet in: FORCE ON

The options are, as you know to check the box  "Vertical Sync"

Then there's the "ON" bullet, and then "Force Open GL Triple Buffer", besides application and off bullets.....

Trying to follow your steps EXACTLY as you list, what do I check?

Both, or just "ON" or "Force Open GL Triple Buffer" ....

I guess that's what I'm missing....

Your guidance has made my single core HT rig run beyond great....I  thank you for your help...again!

Anything listed as OpenGL will have no effect on FSX. FSX is a D3D game, not OpenGL however the Tbuffer can be checked if you want

Nhancer has changed a bit over the months so instead of V/sync FORCE ON in Nhancer its listed as OFF or ON, set it to ON

In the Nv control panel you will still find the setting FORCE ON

I've tried to get Nick to come over and tune my rig, I've offered wine and food as an inducement.  But, he insists I pay his Business Class airfare to Australia, so I'm still saving.

But I'm glad someone asked because I was going to post that if you install the latest Nvidia driver you need the next version of nHancer.  The previous version comes up with a comprehensive error message of major proportions.
