Missing Aircraft Folder???

Missing Aircraft Folder???

Okay, I'm an FSX noob, just got it last night, with Accel pack. My first stupid question is....where are the aircraft folders at? I saw no aircraft directory so...where do you put the add-on aircraft? Second question is...what are SP1 & SP2? Do I need them and where do I get them?

SP2 includes SP1 and SP2 comes with Acceleration.

The aircraft folder is in the sim objects folder.  I am not at home so I am not sure of the exact path, but it will look something like this assuming you have FSX installed on drive C.

C:\program\microsoft games\fsx\sim objects\aircraft.

The aircraft folder is in the sim objects folder.  I am not at home so I am not sure of the exact path, but it will look something like this assuming you have FSX installed on drive C.

C:\program\microsoft games\fsx\sim objects\aircraft.

The default Aircraft directory in FSX is named airplanes

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\airplanes

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
