Postby carcher126 » Sun Jun 01, 2008 7:52 am

Hi Guys. I seem to have a problem...on occassion, not all the time, after I save a flight and it goes back to Free Flight screen or just back to flight screen I get a 'broken' AC and the frame rate drops to only 1-3fps. It can happen anywhere in the world and scenery complexity or density can be set to any setting. It has happened on startup as well. If I restart the sim and usually all is well.

This has been happening for quite

On picture #2, that happens to me sometimes, only it only lasts for a second or two. I think it has something to do with FSX confusing he altitude the scenery is at...

The problems that can be seen on those screenshots are relative to the lack of power of your computer. When the hardware gets overloaded, some strange graphic stuff often happens. For example, after trying a landing in Tokyo (which has a LOT of impact on my performance) I have lost my antialiasing :/

People often call GIG, mb... common mistake.

Try changing your video drivers.

I used to have that problem in pic1, but I no longer have it.

Unfortunetly I have no clue what I did, it just seemed to fix itself. I wish I could be of more help. :-/
